Following the success of the 14th ICEV conference that took place in Lake Toya, Hokkaido, Japan in August 2017, we would like to invite you to the 15th Conference on IC Engines for Vehicles. This by-invitation-only triennial event, was established in 1989 with the support of the Engineering Foundation Conference series on Fluid Mechanics for combustion in IC Engines. The event features presentations and discussions on through-provoking research themes and future directions without written papers. The retreat-type format of the event promotes networking and free exchange of ideas among the participants.

The event will take place in 7-10 June 2020 at Maich Conference Centre, Chania, Crete. The conference is organised by Prof Hua Zhao (Brunel University, UK), Prof Manolis Gavaises (City, University of London), Prof Yasuo Moriyosi (Chiba University, Japan) and Dr Paul Miles (Sandia National Labs). Maich Conference Centre is easy to reach from the local airport (about 20min drive); there are direct flights from all major European airports (London, Frankfurt, Paris etc) and of course from Athens. Another airport at Heraklion is about 2 hours drive.
